I use techniques such as fun investigations, puzzles and good old-fashioned practice.

I use different approaches including stories, games and Cuisenaire rods to build a firm foundation in the core skills.

How I Work

I have a degree in education and maths and experience teaching children of all ages. I offer one-to-one lessons in my home, using a variety of approaches and materials to suit the individual.

I plan each lesson specifically for each child with an emphasis on understanding concepts and developing mathematical thinking. We can work together long or short term.

Children's confidence increases as they succeed in the friendly, positive atmosphere that I create and as their confidence improves so does their ability.
